The good: The Pantech Duo has a unique dual-slider design with a slide-out number dialpad plus a QWERTY keyboard. It comes with the Windows Mobile 6 OS as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera, quad-band support, HSDPA, plus access to AT&T’s broadband services.
The bad: The Pantech Duo has a cheap plastic body with a flimsy sliding mechanism. The QWERTY keyboard felt flush to the surface and was tricky to use

Staff cheered as throngs of excited customers made their way into Apple’s flagship store in London.
A small number of Apple fans keen to get hold of the handset had started queuing at stores overnight and numbers swelled to around 300 for the launch.
First out of the store with the £269 internet enabled device was 20-year-old north London student Tom Jasinski who said “It was worth the wait”.

Research in Motion has decided to stop LG from continue use of their fruity names (black, berry) in its phones. RIM wants LG to ceases naming its phone with fruits or the their phones would be castrated from the market…. This fight is turning interesting, I really don’t see any advantage of RIM over LG’s uses of those names unles LG sells them together… Give me the LG Black and Berry…
