New AT&T Voicemail Viewer App Delivers Home Phone Messages to Smartphone

AT&T announced the launch of the AT&T Voicemail Viewer app, which lets AT&T U-verse Voice customers easily check and manage their home phone messages with visual voicemail on their smartphone.
Much like an email inbox, the Voicemail Viewer app lists your home voicemail messages and allows you to choose the order in which you wish to listen to them. The app also provides a notification when a new voicemail arrives on your home phone, plus the ability to delete voicemails remotely. Additional features include:
The ability to mark messages as read or unread
Forward voicemails via email
One-touch click on a voicemail to return a call
View and add contacts to your smartphone address book
The AT&T Voicemail Viewer app is available to U-verse Voice customers at no extra charge. For smartphone availability, visit http://www.att.com/vmviewer.
AT&T U-verse offers numerous features and apps that enhance your experience, including the many ways that TV, home phone and wireless services work together.
For example, U-verse Voice customers can opt for a single, combined voice mailbox for convenient access to both home phone and wireless messages. They can also view their call logs on their PC or TV screen, initiate a call from their PC or TV, and view voicemail notifications on their U-verse TV screen as well as experience Caller ID on TV.
Delivering more integration across platforms, the recently launched U-verse Mobile app lets customers manage recordings, as well as download and watch hit TV shows on qualifying smartphones. With our YP.COM TV app, customers can search for local business information on their U-verse TV screen and send the call to their home or wireless phone with the click of their remote.
AT&T is using wireless technologies to mobilize everything that’s important to customers — their favorite content, apps, entertainment and social networks. AT&T today delivers the nation’s fastest mobile broadband network.
