The Videolan (VLC) team creators is working hard to submit its iPad version this week, VLC could help increase massively the adoption of the iPad by putting the most acclaimed video player on Windows and Mac and bringing native support for .avi, divx and other video formats on the ipad. VLC will be free on the AppStore in not more than 2 weeks, depending on Apple approval.
